The IIBA RTP Chapter is run by members who dedicate their time and effort for the BA community.  It is led by an elected Board of Directors which includes chapter officers and directors. The chapter has several committees and volunteers which support its activities in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area of North Carolina.

Felicia Joyner CBAP, CBDA

Felicia Joyner is the dynamic CEO of TekBiz Translations and a celebrated speaker, coach, and Master Business Analyst with over 25 years in the tech industry. Throughout her career, Felicia has held various roles including Network Engineer, Subject Matter Expert, Technical Training Manager, and Business & Data Analyst, serving numerous Fortune 500 companies.
 
Felicia's professional journey is marked by her innovative approaches to software validation, resource management, and business development. Her ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams is exemplified in her tenure as President of the Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysts (IIBA). Since joining the board in 2015, she has also served as Secretary and Treasurer, further highlighting her leadership and organizational skills.

Christopher Henderson

Chris Henderson is a seasoned Business and Systems Analyst with over 25 years of experience across diverse industries. Known for his expertise in requirements elicitation, business process modeling, and workflow design, he has successfully led complex projects in highly matrixed environments. Christopher has a robust background in leveraging both Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies to support and enhance technology solutions.  
 
Chris' leadership in developing business requirements documents and managing business processes has consistently delivered enhanced customer experiences and operational efficiencies. Additionally, he holds multiple certifications, including SAFe Scrum Master and SAFe Agilist, reflecting his commitment to continuous professional development and excellence in his field.

JeNeena Greer CBAP, PMP

JeNeena Greer brings over 20 years of experience as a business analyst across various industries. She’s the go-to person for untangling complex business problems, identifying needs, and creating practical solutions. Her dedication to excellence has earned her PMP and CBAP certifications. Currently serving as the Treasurer for the IIBA chapter, JeNeena has also held positions as the Website Coordinator and VP of Marketing. Her core values include collaboration, innovation, and a passion for driving successful outcomes.

LaVern Witherspoon

LaVern Witherspoon is a Senior IT Business Analyst/Data Analyst and has experience working in Financial Services, Banking, and Healthcare IT companies in the Research Triangle area. 

LaVern began her career as a software engineer and later moved into product and customer engineering roles in technology companies. She enjoys product design, architecture and delivering value for customers.  Her recent experience is in data governance, information security, and enterprise risk management.  LaVern enjoys the connections and professional advancement opportunities found in the business analysis community.

Pamela Thomas, CBAP, CBDA

Pamela Thomas is a Senior Business Data Analyst, who specializes in Data Analysis and Agile techniques as well as Business Process Management. Pamela holds the IIBA-CBAP and IIBA-CBDA certifications.  She is an instructor for an IIBA Certification Study Group and started as Membership VP in the fall of 2020.
 
She holds an MS degree in Professional Technical Communication from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University. She is a certified SAFe Agilist and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Professional.

Tina Ewing, MBA, ECBA, CSM

Tina Ewing is a highly accomplished IT and project management professional, based in Raleigh, NC, with a robust educational background including an MBA from Strayer University and a BA in Business Management & Economics from North Carolina State University. As a certified Scrum Master and Business Analyst, Tina has developed a specialty in overseeing critical projects across IT, healthcare and insurance sectors, which have significantly improved organizational processes and efficiency.
 
An advocate for professional development, Tina holds several certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Six Sigma belts, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and excellence. She is also an active community participant, serving as the Director of WomenandMathMentoring.org.

Director, Mentorship

Lori D. Stuart, CBAP, CSPO 

Lori Stewart is an experienced Certified (CBAP) Senior Business Analyst.  She has served the IIBA RTP Chapter as a volunteer, including teaching for the BABOK Study Group.  Lori has been VP of Mentorship for a number of years and has mentored many individuals in the chapter.  She has spoken about mentorship in chapter meetings and on X.
