I am volunteering my time because I want to give back. I want to Ditto the following statement from Tina- Volunteering with the IIBA provides opportunities to develop new skills and enhance my understanding of business analysis. It serves as a platform to keep abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques. Contributing my time gives me a profound sense of satisfaction.

I joined IIBA to learn to "walk and talk" like a BA. Attending the RTP Chapter meetings was actually a
recommendation from a recruiter helping me rebrand.

I stay a member because I'm thrilled to have a group of people help me stay ahead/in line with the
business trends I need to know so that I stay employed. [I tend to keep too focused on work activities and not on
career.]

I volunteer to support the established community that helped me rebrand and the newcomers to Business
Analysis.

I have stayed on the Board because, well as we all know, volunteers are needed.
I do what I can. And besides, I love the community, camaraderie and the positive energy I get from Leadership & Partner
Chapter meetings.
