Big Data is supposed to help organizations make better decisions. Artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to
solve a wide range of business problems. Yet, many organizations are struggling with getting value out of their
data.

Why are these ambitious initiatives not living up to expectations? Why do many of them never get to
production? And what does it have to do with business analysis?
This presentation will summarize how business analysis can help an organization set smart goals for big data
AI initiatives and deliver value through successful projects.

 Yulia Kosarenko is the author of the book "Business Analyst: A Profession and a Mindset", conference speaker,
consultant, and corporate trainer.

analysis practices, and plan and execute digital transformation programs.
As the Professor of Business Analytics at Humber College, she encourages her students to look for ways to solve business
problems using analytics.
