IIBA RTP Raleigh Call for Speakers
The IIBA RTP Raleigh Chapter is seeking engaging speakers and fresh perspectives for our upcoming professional development sessions. If you have a topic idea or a specific session proposal, our Professional Development & Education Committee would love to hear from you. Please use the form at the bottom of this page to submit either a General Topic Suggestion or a Specific Presentation Proposal.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome presentations that draw from and support the IIBA BABOK® and IIBA professional certifications, explore the evolving role of the Business Analyst, provide insight on leadership skills or highlight how BAs collaborate with other stakeholders across modern organizations. Industry‑focused topics and emerging trends are especially encouraged.
We are actively seeking speakers from a variety of professional backgrounds, including:
-
Product Owners
-
AI and Emerging Technology Enthusiasts
-
Project Managers
-
Management and Leadership Professionals
-
Data Analysts
-
Cybersecurity Analysts
-
Agile Practitioners
-
And of course, Business Analysts
Our regular chapter meetings are 1.5 hours, with 40–50 minutes dedicated to the speaker session. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. We also host occasional special events and may recommend speakers to partner chapters and organizations.

-
Build thought leadership. Strengthen your professional voice and showcase your expertise — even if you’re not a BA or PM.
-
Prepare for bigger stages. Hone your delivery and content before presenting at larger conferences or industry events.
-
Earn professional development credits. Speaking at our sessions qualify for CDUs/PDUs toward IIBA or PMI certifications.
-
Grow your network. Connect with a diverse community of practitioners who value collaboration, learning, and real‑world experience.
-
Give back. Support the professional growth of others by sharing what you’ve learned along the way.
Both experienced speakers and new presenters are welcome.
