August Chat: Exchange and Connection
Our August Lunch and Conversation was energizing. Although just a couple of us attended. it was refreshing to discuss careers, job hunting techniques, kids and where we attend other than BA professional activities such as the Cybersecurity Summit last month. And you know I had to sneak in some BOD topics.
All in All, another fun and refreshing break in our summer work afternoon.

July Gathering: Mentorship, Milestones, and Memories
Our July Lunch and Conversation proved to be an insightful and engaging session. The core of our discussion revolved around the profound benefits and limitations we've experienced throughout our Business Analyst (BA) careers. We delved into how we're actively mentoring the next generation of BAs, sharing our recommendations for family members and young colleagues considering this dynamic profession.
The session also featured a lively exchange of job opportunities and industry insights, providing valuable perspectives. We fostered meaningful connections through dedicated networking discussions, where members openly shared their personal professional endeavors. On a lighter note, we explored the evolution of our vacationing habits throughout our BA careers, adding a personal touch to the conversation.
A delightful surprise awaited us: IIBA RTP coffee travel tumblers, thoughtfully presented by our Past President, Felicia Joyner. This unexpected gift was a wonderful highlight!
Overall, our July session was a fun break in our Thursday. Providing information and a chance to share, our productive small session held in Brier Creek Raleigh left everyone enriched and connected and smiling.

The June Lunch and Conversation was an outdoor cozy chat in Durham among colleagues. Attendees shared work updates, expectations for BA's and volunteering opportunities for CDU's on upcoming events and plans.
