Volunteers joined the Marketing and Communication committee as Social Media and Analytics Leads. Membership committee members played a key supporting role in the success of our Study Group. Volunteers played a key role in the Development Day. We had 19 new members during this period and two members from our Study Group became CBAP certified.

Chapter Events
The chapter offered a variety of quality programs and events that delivered value to members. Topics included: Resume Building, Scaled Agile Framework (Safe) development, Presenting Yourself with Power and BABOK 3 certification preparation. The chapter also held an Annual General Meeting, Annual Holiday Social and Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.

Raleigh Business Analysis Development Day (RBADD)
For the second time in our history, we successfully organized the Raleigh Business Analysis Development Day (RBADD) at the NC State University Campus partnering with ASPE. It was attended by more than 125 business analysts, recruiters and local universities.

Collaborative Relationships with other IIBA Chapters
We continued to develop a relationship with other chapters. We have a good working relationship with Charlotte Metro and Central Virginia Chapter.  We invited them to be speakers at RBADD. Jey Subbiah, the Chapter President was mentoring Jeff Gates, President of the Kansas Chapter, under the Mentoring Program. We consulted the Albany, NY chapter when we had challenges in organizing Development Day and wanted to hear their insights working ASPE. We hope to expand our collaboration with other chapters in the coming year.

Collaborative Relationship with Other Business(Customers) in the Community
The chapter continued to maintain and develop relationships with other stakeholders like recruiters, training organizations, vendors and other major corporations. We continued our existing relationship with Matrix Resources. We use the Matrix office to hold monthly meetings and they are also a sponsor of RBADD. They have helped our members to find suitable jobs. Robert Half continued to maintain our relationship and they continued as a Bronze Sponsor. We have developed a partnership with ASPE and they have cooperated as a partner in successfully organizing RBADD for the past two years. We worked with Watermark Learning to get additional benefits for our Study Group participants. Our chapter was invited to host a stand at Veterans Career Transition Day organized by Cisco. We were able to advise and help veterans on how they can transition to a BA career. Our Treasurer, Felicia Joyner, visited Volvo to address their BA forum to highlight the benefits of IIBA RTP Chapter membership.

BABOK 3.0 Study Group
After successfully completing the BABOK 2.0 Study Group last year, we organized the first BABOK 3.0 Study Group.  This group met for 9 weekends from May through July. The study group was facilitated by certified members. 11 members successfully completed the course and they will be claiming 36 CDUs in preparation for taking the exam in the near future.

Mentorship Program
Our chapter volunteered to joining the Pilot Mentoring Program. Six Board of Directors have become mentors to assigned mentees.

Our Marketing and Communication Committee now has a Social Media lead to actively maintain the Twitter and LinkedIn accounts for the chapter. We also have an Analytics Lead to monitor our growth and impact on social media. The chapter uses the official website complying with all the branding guidelines by IIBA. The website is our primary medium of communication. In addition, we started a MeetUp group to bring awareness among other professionals. We have 259 members on our MeetUp group.  We have our presence in LinkedIn and a Twitter account. We use Mail Chimp for email distribution, in accordance with regulations. Our email communication list has 527 contacts
