As devices have become smaller and more ubiquitous and as more companies have begun to demand flexibility in their IT solutions, Business Analysts are increasingly being called on to understand the requirements of the mobile first world. This brief talk will highlight some key considerations when architecting requirements for mobile solutions.
 
Bio: 
Alani Perry is a passionate Business Analyst with 6 years' experience in the Financial Services and IT consulting industries. She currently is a Business Analyst Consultant with Cardinal Solutions and is pursuing her Master of Science in User Experience from Kent State University.

An introduction to the use of Causal Loop Diagrams and Stock-and-Flow Models for improved elicitation, collaboration and solution design. 
 
Bio: 
Robert Koshinskie is an experienced practitioner with expertise in product and marketing management, new product development and launch, and business analysis, primarily in medical device industry. A co-founder of several startups, including medical device and artisanal chocolates, Koshinskie has also worked in international leaders including Philips Healthcare, Laerdal Medical and Mindray (formerly Datascope).
 
Skilled in complex inter-company alliance relationship management, with a degree in Biophysics and an MBA, Koshinskie moves easily among technical, clinical and business circles, facilitating forward motion to successful outcomes. Certificates in PRINCE2, Business Analytics and Modeling augment real-life experience, enabling a comprehensive 360 degree view of the world and effective solutions.

Abstract:
Rare is remaining dedicated to a single organization or job from early career through retirement. The rate of technology change impacts virtually all organizational sectors. Rapid adaption to this constant flux is a must. Security and certainty no longer exist in the job force—for neither the employer nor employee.  Where can some certainty and clarity be found? How can career and job transition feel like there is a little security to be had? What actions can be taken to find the best path for you?
 
Bio: 
Jackie Gottlieb is Sr. BA at Rise Against Hunger, a non-profit with the mission to end extreme hunger by 2030. She works within their IT department identifying and evaluating core business processes that impact the organization’s Salesforce CRM infrastructure in addition to working closely with the developers on their releases. She has her PMP certification and has performed project management and business analysis roles for more than 20 years. Before she realized she was a PM and BA, Jackie was a photographer, graphic artist, multimedia specialist, and web designer.  Originally from New York, she relocated to the Triangle and embarked on the journey of graduating from NC State with her M.S. in Training and Development while being a single parent to her son. She has since married and enjoys a blended family.

Topic would cover steps to be taken to rejoin the work force and lead the path patiently step by step. It would also touch the aspect of preparing oneself morally and confidently to face the hurdles that one would come across.
 
 Bio:
I am Ms. Monica Salvi, A Qualified engineer in large engineering industry with critical and broad domain experience.  Business analyst with custom IT systems/ERP implementation and support with 9+ years’ experience.  I have an advantage of working on a solution from specifications to deployment for various clients. My  core skills being  gathering  Business Requirements, Gap Analysis,  Documentation, Power and End User training,  Project coordinating and reporting  and Business Process Re-engineering.
