In September, our IIBA RTP chapter and members were nominated for 2 IIBA Global Awards and IIBA Volunteer of the Year

 Thank you to our volunteers and members for participating and supporting our activities and events.  Your collaboration in 2023 allowed our organization  to engage with our community and provide value to our members, regional and international partners. 

Our focus in 2023 was supporting our members and providing opportunities through mentorship, certification training and promoting activities highlighting business analysis skills development. 

Volunteer of the Year - Thousands of IIBA Members around the globe serve our community as volunteers. They lead and serve on chapter boards, mentor fellow business analysis professionals, assist in writing and translating our guides and publications, and contribute in so many other ways.  This year Gordana Vujec has been selected as a finalist for the Volunteer of the Year award.  Gordana has served as IIBA RTP Secretary and organized TriBADD, (Triangle Business Analyst Development Day).  Without Gordana’s leadership, there would not have been a TriBADD 2023.

Leadership Excellence - Presented to the Chapter that best demonstrates the highest level of leadership excellence by creating effective strategies, governance policies, operational plans, and increasing Chapter maturity keeping in mind that leadership is competency and position.

Community Outreach and Engagement  - Presented to the IIBA chapter that best demonstrates the highest level of commitment to community outreach and engagement. This Chapter will seek new channels to build awareness of the Chapter’s programs within the community and deliver an excellent participation experience to the community engaged in its programs. The Chapter will be reaching out to the community to raise awareness of IIBA and all the benefits of being an IIBA Member.

On 1 November 2023, Business Analysis Day, we celebrate nominees and winners of the awards at the BA Day Virtual Ceremony.
